Bulk Treated Road Salt is used by states, counties, cities, communities, landscapers and snow professionals to help keep the nation’s roadways, highways and parking lots safe during winter's inclement weather.

Our Treated Road Salt is PNS Approved. It is also treated with Magnesium Chloride (for lower freezing point) and YPS (an anti-caking agent) when it is processed and screened. This helps to prevent crusting and clogging in the spreading machines and storage facilities.

The suppliers have heard lots of talk about the economy and how it will affect the salt market. Supply shortage is also a concern of many.  We have heard that some of the major suppliers and distributing companies have put out notices to their customers with quota requirements along with lowered allotments if any at all.  This just adds fuel to the fire because there was already an uproar on the way prices have gone up in the last few years.

Governments and private companies alike do not want to be told, "You have to spend X dollars for X tons, but if you need Y (less) tons you still have to spend X dollars,  and if you need Z (more) tons you can't have them."  We will NOT operate like this.  If you pay for X tons, we sell you X tons.  We will NOT do contracts with quotas.
