The KD Dura-Blend Salt is a medium coarse blend and is used as the main component in bagged de-icing products.  After being mined from our pond system the salt goes through a drying process to reduce the moisture content and is then screened to the correct size.  It is NOT washed and NOT treated.

Like mentioned above... this is a dried salt product.  The only difference is the size of the granules.  The Fines are separated out in the screening process after going through the dryer.  This product is primarily used in animal feed.  It is also limited in quantity due to the time required to process through the dryer.
